En Activitea, nuestra historia comienza con una inspiración singular y profunda: una madre y su hijo. Hace una década, esta madre se embarcó en un nuevo camino cuando su hijo fue diagnosticado con autismo. Pronto se dio cuenta de que, aunque su hijo no se interesaba por los juguetes convencionales, tenía una fascinación única por el mundo visual: puzzles, juegos de cartas, memory, pictogramas… Esta observación fue el inicio de un viaje creativo y enriquecedor.

She began creating bespoke educational games. What started as an effort to enrich her son’s world soon grew into something much bigger. By sharing these resources on social media, she discovered a global community that benefited from her original creations.

Encouraged by the positive response and enthusiasm for her designs, Activitea was born. It grew into a business creating and selling hands-on educational games, all made with the same love and care she gave to her son. These games offered opportunities to learn, brought families together and supported children with different ways of experiencing the world.

Through Activitea, this mother found more than a business: she found her calling. It allowed her to follow her passion and work from home, adapting her professional life to her son’s needs and maintaining a balance that worked for her family.

Over the years, Activitea has grown, and our outlook has grown with it. We have seen that our educational games, first designed with the specific needs of autistic children in mind, can enrich every child’s learning and development. This has brought us great joy and pride, and strengthened our mission to create inclusive toys that celebrate the many ways children learn. The love and commitment of a mother to her son remain at the heart of everything we do as we continue to inspire, educate and bring joy to children and families around the world.
